Strength in marine resource procurement
Our global procurement network is huge. It spans industries such as fishing, farming, trading, producing, processing, and selling—all guaranteed safe and secure. We deal with over 700 thousand tons of marine products a year, which makes us one of the largest suppliers in the world. And our network is still growing: Asia, Oceania, North America, Europe, and Japan (of course) are all seeing the benefits of our traceable and pure products.
The Ishinomaki Factory: back stronger than ever
The Ishinomaki Factory suffered a lot of damage by an earthquake in 2011. Officials considered relocation. Luckily, with the help of the city and the people of Japan, it was reconstructed near the original site. So, we decided to give back to the local community by bringing in new jobs and helping rebuild damaged areas. When it reopened, the factory became an indispensable asset of the frozen food business.
